Superbreak Opens Bookings For Love Never Dies Theatre Breaks
Superbreak has announced it is releasing a new package to coincide with the most eagerly awaited new musical of the last 20 years opening for bookings.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies continues the stories of the principal characters of The Phantom of the Opera, The Phantom, Christine Daae and Raoul ten years after the The Phantom’s mysterious disappearance from the Paris Opera House.
Theatre fans have discussed the possibility of a sequel since 1997, when Frederick Forsyth published his novel The Phantom of Manhattan with Lloyd Webber’s approval. Ten years later in 2007, Lloyd Webber announced that plans for a stage sequel would be going ahead, and that it would be set in New York.
The Phantom Of The Opera, the most successful musical in history, has been enjoyed by almost 100,000,000 theatre-goers around the world since it opened in London at her Majesty’s Theatre on 9 October 1986
Love Never Dies will have its World Premiere at London’s Adelphi Theatre on 9 March 2010 and its first booking period runs to the 23 October 2010
Superbreak’s Head of Theatre, David Thomas said of this landmark launch: “For 23 years our clients have been captivated by the most spellbinding romance the stage has ever seen. Now that romance is about to continue, and I simply cannot wait. My girlfriend and I will be first through the doors at the very first performance, having booked to see Phantom the night before of course. (But please don’t tell her, I want it to be a massive surprise)”.
