In view of the terrible events in Haiti Destinology have been liaising with Plan UK on how they could possibly assist the disaster recovery programme in place. Plan UK staff are currently on the ground in Haiti using their expertise to assess the situation and assist the families affected by the disaster that occurred.

From today, every booking that is made through Destinology will result in £5 being donated to the Haiti Earthquake Appeal and go towards rebuilding the lives of those affected.

On 12th January at 17:00 hours a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck the Haitian coast rocking the capital, with hundreds of thousands feared dead. It is the biggest earthquake to hit the region for 200 years. The epicentre is about 10 miles from Port-au-Prince.
