Superbreak already has a great pedigree as a rail breaks operator offering hotel and rail packages on the East Coast Mainline, East Anglia Line and East Midlands Trains. Customers also have the opportunity to add rail f r o m any UK mainline station to their destination of choice when they book a hotel. In 2009 the tour operator booked over 145,000 customers onto a rail package.
This strong rail base provides the relationship with great opportunities as Eurostar breaks can be created f r o m any UK rail station to the destinations above with a short connection in London. The relationship with East Coast allows Superbreak to offer 2 night packages f r o m any station on the network, as far north as Edinburgh or Glasgow to Paris f r o m just £154 per person based on 2 adults sharing a twin/double room in the 2* Timhotel Gare du Nord which represents real value for money.
Chris Hagan - Programme Manager commented, “Rail inclusive breaks have long been a mainstay of the Superbreak programme and adding Eurostar, particularly f r o m the regions is a natural extension of this. Our customers will now be able to enjoy their high speed city centre to city centre services combined with Superbreak’s selection of quality hotels in Paris, Lille, Brussels, Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp and Disneyland Paris at great prices combined with the high levels of service synonymous with Superbreak”.
