Chris Rea set for Prague concert
The English singer-songwriter, who is probably best known for the hits Driving Home for Christmas and Fool (If You Think It’s Over), is set to play at the Czech capital’s Congress Centre on Thursday February 23rd.
This gig will take place as part of a huge run of concerts across the continent, during which Rea will take to the stage in cities such as Berlin, Moscow, Vienna, Amsterdam and Paris.
Admission to the show ranges in price from 790 to 1,390 Czech koruna (£25 to £44), depending on the location inside the Congress Centre.
Famous for his slide guitar playing and distinctive husky voice, Rea has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and topped the UK charts with the albums The Road to Hell and Auberge.
The musician came out of retirement in November 2007 by announcing plans for a new LP and tour, with venues including the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Still So Far To Go - The Best of Chris Rea, released in 2009, reached number eight in the chart and was his most successful album for 15 years.
A generous selection of Prague hotels that may appeal to fans of the singer can be found at LateRooms.com, which recommends Miss Sophie’s.
