Batman Live is heading to Prague
Batman Live, the brand new stage production based on the famous superhero, is due to arrive in Prague next month.
Fans of the Caped Crusader are expected to flock to the Czech capital’s O2 Arena, which will host the show from Friday February 17th to Sunday February 19th.
After premiering in the UK last summer, Batman Live is set to tour arenas around the world this year.
The production uses a mixture of breathtaking stunts, acrobatics and illusions to transport the audience to the streets of Gotham City, where Batman and Robin must battle their nemesis The Joker and a number of other arch-villains.
A 100 ft video wall, as well as a Batmobile designed specifically for the show, completes the stage.
Based on an original story, the live-action event promises to be a memorable occasion for those who have enjoyed the crime-fighting figure’s many incarnations in films and comics.
Tickets can be purchased online, priced between 700 and 1,200 Czech koruna (£23 and £39.40).
The show will begin at 19:00 local time on Friday, while performances at 15:00 and 19:00 have been scheduled for Saturday. A further two shows are due to take place on Sunday at 11:00 and 15:00.
Batman fans can browse a wide range of Prague accommodation at LateRooms.com, which recommends the Eurostars Thalia Prague.
