See The Maccabees live in Paris

Acclaimed indie band The Maccabees will play live at La Maroquinerie in Paris next month.

The Brighton-based group are set to embark on a triumphant European tour following the recent release of their third studio album Given to the Wild, which was praised by critics and reached number four in the charts.

Fans of the group can see them on stage in the French capital on Friday February 10th, with support provided by Air Bag One.

The release of Given to the Wild, which features the single Pelican, has been hailed as a breakthrough moment for The Maccabees.

Recorded over the three years since the band’s second LP Wall of Arms came out, the 13-track record delighted critics with its ambitious and accomplished take on modern guitar music.

With recent live shows seeing the band lean heavily on their new material, fans can expect to hear plenty of the album at La Maroquinerie.

Tickets for the gig can be purchased online for €22 (£18.30) plus booking fee. Doors are due to open at 19:30 local time.

LateRooms.com features plenty of ideas for Paris accommodation that could appeal to fans of the band, including the Hotel Montpensier.
