Cocktails and cigars promise to warm the winter and spring nights at Bespoke Hotels’ Ten Manchester Street
Ever fancied yourself as a mover and shaker in the world of top-class cocktails? Or sought somewhere to enjoy the finest samples of the cigar-maker’s art?
One leading London hotel is offering you the chance to do both at separate special events running from now through to the summer.
The sumptuous surroundings of Bespoke Hotels’ Ten Manchester Street luxury hotel London, close to Baker Street, Bond Street and Marylebone station, are a suitably sophisticated backdrop to these events, which promise to be a must in the diary of cigar and cocktail
connoisseurs.
The hotel is proud that it is one of a tiny handful with its own cigar terrace, complete with humidor, offering elegant surroundings in which to enjoy a good smoke– a marked contrast to the facilities provided by many establishments since the introduction of the smoking ban.
Having previously staged successful events on the theme, Ten Manchester Street is reprising its ladies’ cigar evenings, which include a tutored tasting for ladies and their guests of the finest hand-rolled Havana tobacco, provided by Hunters & Frankau, which can be complemented by a delicious cocktail to round off the evening.
The evenings will take place monthly until June, and more details can be found on the Bespoke Hotels website.
Meanwhile, another venture by the hotel is themed cocktail evenings, which promise another way to stimulate the senses. Starting with canapés specially prepared by the head chef at boutique hotel London Ten Manchester Street, there will then by an interactive cocktail-mixing demonstration, followed by a presentation from a master distiller.
Each of these evenings will take a particular spirit as its theme, with Armagnac, vodka, gin, champagne and Pimms all being covered over the course of the five evenings to be held, each taking place on a Monday evening once a month through to June.
“Although Ten Manchester Street has only been open for two years, it has already made its mark as a beacon for good taste in all areas,” said Bespoke Hotels’ company chairman, Robin Sheppard.
“Our 45 luxury, state-of-the-art bedrooms have been very well received by a discerning clientele, which has also enthusiastically embraced the special connoisseur events we have held so far.
“We look forward to welcoming old friends, and many new guests, at these events, and to helping them enjoy a relaxing night’s stay afterwards, to make these special occasions complete.”
