Bangkok International Motor Show revs its engines this March
The Bangkok International Motor Show is gearing up to return to the Thai capital’s Impact Challenger Arena for its 33rd edition at the end of March 2012.
Aimed at showcasing the very latest advances in automotive engineering, the show begins on March 26th with two days of VIP and press events, before the doors are thrown open to members of the public from March 28th to April 8th.
The show is organised by Grand Prix International and the Thai Automotive Industry Association, and typically attracts some of the biggest names in the world of vehicular manufacturing, including Ferrari, Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Harley Davidson and Volkswagen.
Everything from concept cars to supercars and motorbikes will be displayed, as well as accessories such as car stereos.
Originally created in 1979, the event has been gradually growing in size and scale over the years and has upgraded its venue several times, with this year’s show to be the second held at its current Muang Thong Thani location.
Those wishing to attend can do so between the hours of 11:00 and 22:00 local time during weekdays or from 12:00 to 22:00 on weekends.
Automobile enthusiasts can find a comprehensive array of Bangkok hotels at AsiaRooms.com, including the Twin Towers Hotel.
