More Travel press releases urges Strictly Come Dancing fans to book London hotels when they see the live show

The hugely popular television show may have finished for this series but Strictly Come Dancing fans can still get their fix when Strictly Come Dancing – The Live Tour returns to London for its fifth year, appearing at Wembley Arena on Friday 27th January, and at the O2 Arena on Saturday 28th January and Sunday 29th January 2012. With over 1.25 million tickets for the live show already sold over the past four years, the 2012 tour is sure to be hugely popular event and visitors wishing to stay overnight can go to to book one of the hotels in London listed, many of which are within easy reach of the arenas where the show is taking place.

McFly drummer Harry Judd, a worthy winner of this series, is joined by his nearest rival Chelsee Healey and third placed former Neighbours star Jason Donovan. Ex-EastEnders actress Anita Dobson, Nancy Dell’Olio, former footballer Robbie Savage and ex-Olympic swimmer Mark Foster complete the celebrity line-up confirmed to date, all seven of whom will tour around the UK and Ireland for five weeks with the live show which is, once again, hosted by Kate Thornton.

The live show follows much the same format as the BBC series where the celebrities take to the floor with their professional dance partners to impress the judges with their moves – whether it’s the Tango, Jive, Waltz or American Smooth – to see who will win the coveted glitter ball trophy. This year’s judging panel features three of the four television regulars, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who is also directing the arena tour for the second year running.

The couples compete not only for the votes of the TV judges but also attempt to win over the audience who can cast their vote via mobile phone.

‘Strictly’ fans – 12 million of them tuned in to see the final show – can ‘keep on dancing’ by watching the live show where the stunning costumes and the (sometimes brutally) honest remarks made by the judges are as much a part of the fun as the dance routines. If you’re visiting London to see the show, go to where you will find a whole host of resources including hotels and their availability, nearby restaurants, bars and cafes as well as listings on other events and attractions in London.

Perseverance And Hard Work Lead To Success, Says Bespoke Hotels Boss

Working hard and sticking at it are two of the main reasons behind the success of one of the UK’s leading luxury hotel groups, according to its chief executive.

Bespoke Hotels was established in 2000 and over the past 11 years the group has grown from having three properties to managing 52 across Britain, Europe and the Caribbean. Speaking to, Bespoke’s founder and chief executive Haydn Fentum said being flexible and appreciating that all hotels have key differences are some of the most important things to remember.

He said: “If I had to choose one word to explain our success I would probably choose flexibility. By listening to our clients and the hotel owners, we make sure we apply the right level of service to a particular property.

“We adapt well and that’s where we’ve won out over branded operators, because our properties are all idiosyncratic and quite unique to their location. We take a more bespoke or tailored attitude towards running those businesses. We’re not a one-size-fits-all hotel group.”

It is this approach of providing guests with unique experiences, matched with the best of British hospitality and the best possible facilities that has earned Bespoke Hotels an enviable reputation.

With properties that range from country house accommodation to boutique hotels in the centre of London, Bespoke Hotels has made sure that individuals, couples, families and business clients are all catered for. Every one of the group’s luxury hotels has its own character and charms, whether that’s helped by the addition of a luxurious spa, exquisite interior design or access to one of the best golf courses in the UK.

Haydn added: “Each hotel is specific and you need to play to your strengths. So we encourage the managers to push hard in areas where they know they’ll get success.”

Park Inn by Radisson Sofia Supports the Asen Zlatarov Orphanage

Park Inn by Radisson Sofia has pledged its support for children from the Asen Zlatarov Orphanage in the town of Vratsa, 130 km NW from Sofia.

The management of the hotel Sofia, together with Tabitha Foundation, donated 100 bedspreads to 70 children aged 7 – 19 who are deprived of parental care and live in the orphanage. With the support of the educational centre in Vratsa, children will practice their sewing abilities to fit the bedspreads to their imaginations.

It is the second occasion that Park Inn by Radisson Sofia supported charitable institutions in 2011. Earlier this year the hotel generously donated a large amount of used bedding and towel supplies to the IWC Charity Foundation. Pillows, pillow covers, sheets, cover sets and towels were delivered to the home for the disabled in Petrovo and to the Hospice Miloserdie in Sofia. Both of these institutions had a great need for these supplies and were grateful to have received Park Inn’s donated goods. The Miloserdie Foundation offers comprehensive care to terminally ill people and runs a soup kitchen throughout the year. The home for the disabled in Petrovo, in the Municipality of Sandanski, accommodates 87 children and teenagers, the majority of which suffer from severe mental and physical disabilities.

The hotel in Sofia, part of the Rezidor Hotel Group, will continue its commitment to society and expand the scope of such initiatives in the future

The Rezidor Group introduced its Responsible Business program in 2001 and was one of the first hotel companies in the world to devise a comprehensive social and environmental program across all regions in 2001, comprising the responsibility for guest and employee health and safety, respect for social and ethical issues within the company and a reduced impact on the environment.

Since 2007 Rezidor has supported the World Childhood Foundation, with social and environmental activities as well as fund raising initiatives being organized regularly.

Tailor-Made Travel Specialist Announces February Savings On Barbados Holidays

Bridgetown, Barbados is just recovering from the celebrations marking its fiftieth year of independence, and now it’s preparing for equally colourful New Year’s celebrations. 2011 has been a spectacular year for the tourist sector in Barbados, with the BTA (Barbados Tourism Authority) announcing an 8 per cent rise in arrivals over 2010. And with British tour operators having to be ever more competitive on prices because of controversial Air Passenger Duty costs, Barbados offers some of the region’s most enticing deals.

UK-based operator Kenwood Travel has deals lined up year round for travel to Barbados, but they will be saving travellers hundreds of pounds this February especially. 7 day Kenwood Travel Barbados Holidays for two adults leaving on the 11th of February can cost as little as £2887. An all-inclusive stay at the adult-only Almond Beach Club and Spa costs an impressive £4224, with savings of over £600. And a family of two adults and two children can bask in the Caribbean sun for a little over £5000.

“February is a great month for travelling to Barbados” said a representative from the company. “The midmonth Holetown festival gets you to the heart of Barbadian culture with parades and local history events. Cricket fans might also want to book seats for the 2012 Regional First Class Cricket tournament which begins in February.”

Barbados has plenty to offer all year round. Festivals are a regular fixture, with the July Crop Over festival the largest of a long list of regionally significant events. Kadooment Day parade is the explosive August finale and a must for lovers of vibrant colour, calypso music and unbridled happiness. A Caribbean centre for sporting events including volleyball, cricket, surfing, yachting and beyond, there’s always something happening in Barbados.

Barbados isn’t an island where noise and activity are inescapable, either. Tourist activity is concentrated along the south and west coasts of the island: there you will find the cosmopolitan Bridgetown, the shopping and nightlife of the St. Lawrence Gap and the beautiful but busy sands of the island’s hotel-flanked beaches. A journey further inside the island reveals its natural beauty: over a hundred different bird species, mischievous green monkeys, three species of lizards and many more diverse creatures in a forested paradise with spectacular views.

Kenwood Travel have been finding the right tailor made holidays for their customers for over thirty years. A fully bonded UK-based operator, they deal directly with airlines and hotels for the best deals on Caribbean, Middle Eastern, Far Eastern, African and American travel.

Crowds Come To London To See Top International Bikers Compete In The ACU British Supercross Championships

Get ready for a white knuckle ride as the ACU British Supercross Championships hits London’s Wembley Arena in 2012. Round three of the nationwide championships, a highlight in any motorbike fanatic’s diary, will come to the capital on Saturday 14th January and fans visiting London to see all the petrol fuelled action are advised to book one of the many London hotels listed on, where it’s easy to see the hotels’ proximity to the event venue.

Following the success of last year’s sold out three round series in Belfast and London, this year’s Supercross Championships promises to be bigger and better with a new additional combined series points fund to play for.

Those that follow the British Supercross Championship will not be surprised to learn that Neville Bradshaw has emerged as the man to beat in overall combined points for this year’s series. He’s closely followed by fellow Honda rider, Frenchman Nico Aubin, while defending SX1 and British Supercross champion Tom Church is in third place on points.

For those less familiar with Supercross, it is an indoor sport in which motorbikes race perilously around a specifically designed man-made dirt track, they tackle sheer jumps and breakneck turns resulting in a fast and furious show for the lucky spectators.

While this is an international event with riders from the US, Canadian, South African and Scandinavian, this year’s series has the best ever line-up of British stars – including former British Motocross champion Stephen Sword and defending SX2 champion Jack Brunell – which has prompted the creation of a new award called the British Nations Cup. This annual award encourages some friendly rivalry between riders from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales – the two who accumulate the most series points win.

There will also be a chance to catch the future champions and youth clubman programme in between the pro-racing action. Expect a star-studded line up of daredevil riders as they descend on London for an exhilarating, two-wheeled extravaganza.

Book your tickets for round three of the ACU British Supercross Championships at Wembley Arena early to avoid disappointment as tickets are expected to be in demand, stay in London overnight using to book your hotel and plan your visit, whether it’s for a family outing or a weekend away with friends.
